यदि प्रश्न संख्या 1 से 10 तक में x तथा दिए समीकरणों द्वारा, एक-दूसरे से प्राचलिक रूप में सम्बन्धित हों, तो प्राचलों का विलोपन
किए बिना \(\frac{d y}{d x}\) -ज्ञात कीजिए :
प्रश्न 1.
x = 2at², y = at4
हल :
x = 2at² तथा y = at4
दोनों फलनों का t के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,
\(\frac{d x}{d t}=4 a t \text { तथा } \frac{d y}{d t}=4 a t^3\)
∴\(\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{d y}{d t} / \frac{d x}{d t}=\frac{4 a t^3}{4 a t}=t^2\)
⇒ \(\frac{d y}{d x}=t^2\)
प्रश्न 2.
x = a cos θ, y = b cos θ
हल :
x = a cos θ तथा y = b cos θ
दोनों पक्षों का θ के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,
\(\frac{d x}{d \theta}=-a \sin \theta \text { तथा } \frac{d y}{d \theta}=-b \sin \theta\)
∴\(\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{d y}{d \theta} / \frac{d x}{d \theta}=\frac{-b \sin \theta}{-a \sin \theta}=\frac{b}{a}\)
⇒ \(\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{b}{a} .\)
प्रश्न 3.
x = sin t, y = cos 2t
हल:
x = sin t तथा y = cos 2t
दोनों फलनों का के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,
प्रश्न 4.
x = 4t तथा y = \(\frac{4}{t}\)
हल:
x = 4t तथा y = \(\frac{4}{t}\)
दोनों पक्षों का के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,
\(\frac{d x}{d t}=4\) तथा \(\frac{d y}{d t}=-\frac{4}{t^2}\)
∴ \(\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{d y}{d t} / \frac{d x}{d t}=\frac{\left(-\frac{4}{t^2}\right)}{4}=-\frac{1}{t^2}\)
∴ \(\frac{d y}{d x}=-\frac{1}{t^2}\)
प्रश्न 5.
x = cos θ – cos 2θ, y = sin θ – sin 2θ
हल :
x = cos θ – cos 2θ
y = sin θ – sin 2θ

\(x=\frac { { sin }^{ 3 }t }{ \sqrt { cos2t } } \& y=\frac { { cos }^{ 3 }t }{ \sqrt { cos2t } } \)
प्रश्न 8.
x = a(cost + log tan t/2), y = a sin t
हल:
x = a (cost + log tan t/2), y = a sin t
अब x = a(cost + log tan t/2) में दोनों पक्षों का t के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,

x = \(\sqrt{a^{\sin ^{-1} t}}\) तथा \(\sqrt{a^{\cos ^{-1} t}}\)
x = \(\sqrt{a^{\sin ^{-1} t}}=\left(a^{\sin ^{-1} t}\right)^{1 / 2}\)
दोनों पक्षों का के सापेक्ष अवकलन करने पर,
\(\frac{d x}{d t}=\frac{d}{d t}\left(a^{\sin ^{-1} t}\right)^{1 / 2}\)
\(\frac{d x}{d t}=\frac{1}{2}\left(a^{\sin ^{-1} t}\right)^{1 / 2-1} \cdot \frac{d}{d t}\left(a^{\sin ^{-1} t}\right)\)
