प्रश्न 1 से 9 तक के फलनों का समाकलन ज्ञात कीजिए:
प्रश्न 1.
\(\sqrt{4-x^2}\)
हल:
माना I = ∫\(\sqrt{4-x^2}\) dx
= ∫\(\sqrt{2^2-x^2}\) dx
∵ ∫\(\sqrt{a^2-x^2}\) dx = \(\frac{x}{2}\) \(\sqrt{a^2-x^2}\) + \(\frac{a^2}{2}\) sin-1\( \frac{x}{a}\) + C
प्रश्न में a2 = 4 तथा a = 2
∴ ∫\(\sqrt{4-x^2}\) dx = \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{4-x^2}\) + \(\frac{4}{2}\)sin-1\(\frac{x}{2}\) + C
= \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{4-x^2}\) + 2 sin-1\(\frac{x}{2}\) + C

प्रश्न 2.
\(\sqrt{1-4 x^2}\)
हल:
माना I = ∫\(\sqrt{1-4 x^2}\) dx
= 2∫\(\sqrt{\frac{1}{4}-x^2}\) dx
= 2∫\(\sqrt{\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^2-x^2}\) dx
= 2[\(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^2-x^2}\) + \(\frac{1}{4}\)sin-1\(\left(\frac{x}{1 / 2}\right)\)] + C
= \(\frac{x \sqrt{1-4 x^2}}{2}\) + \(\frac{1}{4}\) sin-1(2x) + C

= ∵\(\sqrt{x^2+a^2}\) = \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{x^2+a^2}\) + \(\frac{a^2}{2}\) logx + |x + \(\sqrt{x^2+a^2}\) + C]

प्रश्न 10.
∫\(\sqrt{1+x^2}\) dx बराबर है:
(A) \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{1+x^2}\) + \(\frac{1}{2}\)log|(x + \(\sqrt{1+x^2}\))| + C
(B) \(\frac{2}{3}\)(1 + x2 )3/2 + C
(C) \(\frac{2}{3}\)(1 + x2)3/2 + C
(D) \(\frac{x^2}{2}\)\(\sqrt{1+x^2}\) + \(\frac{1}{2}\)x2log|x + \(\sqrt{1+x^2}\)| + C
हल:
∵∫\(\sqrt{a^2+x^2}\) dx
= \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{a^2+x^2}\) + \(\frac{a^2}{2}\)log|x + \(\sqrt{a^2+x^2}\) | + C
= a2 = 1
∵∫\(\sqrt{1+x^2}\) dx
= \(\frac{x}{2}\)\(\sqrt{1+x^2}\) + \(\frac{1}{2}\)log|x + \(\sqrt{1+x^2}\)| + C
अतः विकल्प (A) सही है।

(x + 3)\(\sqrt{3-4 x-x^2}\) का मान ज्ञात कीजिए।
हल:
मान
I = ∫(x + 3)\(\sqrt{3-4 x-x^2}\) dx
तथा
(x + 3) = A\(\frac{d}{d x}\)(3 – 4x – x2) + B
⇒ x + 3 = A(-2X – 4) + B
⇒ x + 3 = (-2Ax) + (-4A + B)
∴ -2A = 1
⇒ A = \(-\frac{1}{2}\)
⇒ -4A + B = 3
⇒ -4(\(-\frac{1}{2}\)) + B = 3
⇒ B = 1
